"Meta" is the second Ultreya L.P. released by Archimeme records.
This long play is characterized by the choice to deeply renew the style that made the signature of Archimeme records until today, while keeping its fundamental and roots state of mind.
It was decided to explore/fuse the connections that can be made between electronic music and blues, jazz, bebop, freestyle and soul experiences.
As a result, you will be pleased to hear in this record slide guitars, saxophones, clavinets, electric pianos, Hammond organs, brushed and acoustic drums, harmonicas, Moog-style leads, jammed vibraphones, jazzy, soul and also robotic voices mixed all along the album with first class electronica.
Have a listen to the main title, "Meta", to get a clear idea of the artistic direction for this second Ultreya's album.
The cover for "Meta" is based on a fractal render called "Sentinel", made with the "Sterling Fractal 2" program.
Sterling2 is an excellent and free fractal generating program based on Stephen Ferguson's Sterling.
You can download it here : soler7.com/Fractals/Sterling2.html
The "Sentinel" file is in free use, uploaded in september 2008 under "Public Domain" licence.
Here's where you can find it and what you can do with it:
